Community Involvement
North Carolina/Virginia/Kentucky/Ohio

The term Southern hospitality usually describes how gracious people in the region are in entertaining in their homes.

The company, based in Raleigh, owns more than 220 locations in eight states. While all of them provide quality vehicle maintenance, many also serve as highly convenient and accessible places for people to assist worthy causes.

Here are some of the ways that Jiffy Lube service centers in the region will help community organizations during special periods this year:
  • The public is invited to donate coats at participating locations in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky in November and in North Carolina in December that will be provided to the Salvation Army and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help those less fortunate.
  • In Richmond, Virginia customers are urged to drop off gently used children’s books during the Jiffy Lube Jump Start On Reading book drive in August. The books are then donated to a local organization like Children’s Health Involving Parents (CHIP) of Richmond.
  • Food brought to service centers in the Dayton area will be picked up by members of the Boy Scouts of America and the National Guard for delivery for local food banks during the annual Scouting For Food drive in March.
  • At participating locations in the Richmond area in March and in North Carolina and Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky in April, Jiffy Lube urges the public to nominate their favorite teachers each year for the Jiffy Lube Teaching Excellence Award. In each market, three winners are selected by members of the local education community to receive a certificate of recognition along with a check for $1,000.
In recent years, Lucor has also supported the Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals and UNICEF.
